1. Wash your hands: Clean your hands thoroughly with soap and dry them carefully before touching your contact lenses – both before and after. This will help you avoid germs and residue.

2. Check lenses: Before opening the bottles, check that the contact lenses are free of cracks, scratches, or other damage. If you find any defects, please inform us immediately.

3. Proper handling: Only touch the lenses with your fingertips. Never use your fingernails – keep them short and clean at all times to protect the delicate lens.

4. Avoid contact with nails: Make sure your nails don't touch the lenses. Even a small scratch can damage the material – contact lenses are very delicate!

5. Check the correct side: Examine the curvature of the lens closely: If the edge is bent outwards, it is inside out. Only when the lens is the right way round will it sit comfortably and provide clear vision.

6. Preparation before first use: Soak new contact lenses in a multi-purpose contact lens solution for at least 6 hours. Clean, rinse, and disinfect them thoroughly before each use.

7. Use only suitable solutions: Use only high-quality multi-purpose solutions or sterile saline solutions that are specifically designed for soft contact lenses. Tap water is unsuitable and can contaminate the lenses.

8. Inserting contact lenses: Gently lift your upper eyelid with one hand. With your other hand, gently pull down your lower eyelid and carefully place the lens onto your eye with your index finger.

9. Center the lens: Release your eyelids, close your eyes briefly, and blink two or three times. Then, gently move your eye in a small circle to perfectly center the lens.

10. Check clear vision: If your vision is blurry, there could be oil residue on the lens – or you may have mixed up the lenses.

11. Removing contact lenses: Gently pull down your lower eyelid, look to the side, and slide the lens onto the white of your eye with your middle finger. Then gently grasp it between your thumb and forefinger.

12. Clean the lenses: Place the lens in your palm and add 6–8 drops of fresh multipurpose solution. Tip: Regularly check the expiration date of your cleaning solution.

13. Gentle rubbing: Rub the lens with your fingertip in circular motions for about 20–30 seconds. Then rinse it with fresh solution to thoroughly remove any deposits.

14. Storage: Always replace the old solution in the lens case with fresh solution. Repeat the process with the second lens to ensure maximum hygiene.

15. Complete immersion: Ensure both lenses are completely submerged in the solution. If they are not fully covered, they can dry out and become unusable.

16. Change your lens case: Replace your contact lens case approximately every 3 months. This reduces the risk of bacterial growth and prevents infections.

17. Lens care pays off: Always treat your contact lenses with care – this way they remain comfortable to wear and you can enjoy clear, pleasant vision for longer!
